Multi-Track Recording Coming to the Rodecaster Pro

Multi-Track Recording Coming to the Rodecaster Pro

I recently did an episode where I got the opinions of two other people besides myself to discuss their experience using the new Rodecaster Pro from Rode. We all agreed that it's a great unit, and we all agreed that it was missing one big thing: the ability to record separate tracks. Come February 2019, that will no longer be an exception as they have just announced that theRode RodcasterPro will be able to be updated to have individual track recording.

Not just of the four microphone inputs. According to their website:

The multitrack feature will record 14 tracks:
• A stereo ‘live mix’ track, as featured on the RØDECaster Pro since its release
• A mono track for each of the 4 microphone inputs
• A stereo track each for the USB, 3.5mm TRRS, Bluetooth and sound pad channels

As I write this in 1/24/19 many places are having a hard time keeping them in stock.
